Chikki is a  popular Indian snack. Chikki comes with a wide variety, from the most common peanut-jaggery chikki to coconut chikki and to this one is here Gulab badam chikki.

Ingredients necessary for the preparation of Gulab badam chikki:

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/8 tablespoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Almond sliced
  • 1 cup Dry rose petals

Preparation of Gulab Badam Chikki:

  • In a pan, over medium-high heat melt the butter, then add sugar and salt.
  • Keep stirring the sugar continuously till sugar start melting and changing the colour to light brown.
  • Turn off the heat as soon it comes to golden brown in colour.
  • When sugar starts melting it changes the colour very quickly and that time adds almonds and dry rose petal, stir quickly. Pour over the silicone sheets and spread properly.
  • After brittle comes to room temperature brake them in pieces. Store them in the airtight container.
