Chikki is a popular Indian snack. Chikki comes with a wide variety, from the most common peanut-jaggery chikki to coconut chikki and to this one is here Gulab badam chikki.
Ingredients necessary for the preparation of Gulab badam chikki:
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/8 tablespoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Almond sliced
- 1 cup Dry rose petals
Preparation of Gulab Badam Chikki:
- In a pan, over medium-high heat melt the butter, then add sugar and salt.
- Keep stirring the sugar continuously till sugar start melting and changing the colour to light brown.
- Turn off the heat as soon it comes to golden brown in colour.
- When sugar starts melting it changes the colour very quickly and that time adds almonds and dry rose petal, stir quickly. Pour over the silicone sheets and spread properly.
After brittle comes to room temperature brake them in pieces. Store them in the airtight container.
